Reggie Jackson, LSCSW is the Founder and Executive Director of Satori Counseling Services, a therapist collective that provides a variety of mental health services including a domestic violence program and anger management/emotional regulation curriculum in Lawrence, KS.
Reggie has worked in the field of mental health for almost 20 years, he graduated with a BS in History from Kansas State University in 2002 and a Masters of Social Welfare from the University of Kansas in 2009. While in graduate school, he studied at the University of Costa Rica and also served as the student representative on the KU SSW advisory board. He spent 2015 – 2018 as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Kansas MSW program. In 2018 he was named the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, Adjunct Professor of the Year.
Reggie has experience working with a number of different client populations and mental health challenges. His current therapeutic focus is work with other Black and POC professionals navigating the challenges associated with professional advancement and maintaining a positive work/life balance.
Reggie provides clinical supervision to support therapists in growing as clinicians and building their own private practices. He also consults and supports organizations in supporting their staff through professional development, training and technical assistance. Over the past 3 years, he has sat on several panels, presented at state conferences and supported organizations through challenging transitions. Reggie is the father of two. He is a sports enthusiast, has too many hobbies, and enjoys a good laugh with friends and family.
